Celebrate Nature, Little Kingsley Beach, Tomaree Coastal Walk

POSTPONED

December 7, 2025 @ 10:00 am 12:00 pm

Join us in Celebrating the regeneration of nature along this scenic section of the Tomaree Coastal Walk ~ Fishermans Bay Headland to Kingsley Beach and its northern headland

With great excitement, the Friends of Tomaree National Park have cause for celebration with the Tomaree Coastal Walk community and locals at Little Kingsley Beach.

The Friends have been managing bitou and prickly pear infestations along the Tomaree Coastal Walk (for many, many metres either side of the walk).

Late this year the Friends Southern group who have been working northward from Iris Moore and Fishermans Headland along the Tomaree Coastal Walk, will soon meet the Friends Central group who have been working southward, from the entrance to Kingsley Beach, the associated dunes and southward beyond the beach and over the headland.

Soon they will meet at Little Kingsley Beach. By December this whole southern section of the Tomaree Coastal Walk will be looking healthier, the earlier work in vibrant condition, others the native vegetation is recovering, and soon there’ll be just new emerging seedlings to pull.

We’re planning guided walks from either end, and a picnic party at Little Kingsley to celebrate the achievement and the meeting of the groups … Sunday 7 December … you’re invited to come along, bring a picnic, and celebrate! There’ll be a few activities too!
