The walks were the first activity in 2023 marking the 30 year anniversary celebrations of EcoNetwork Port Stephens.

The tours intended to develop a greater appreciation for the beautiful and significant wetlands in the middle of our community. We hope those who participated learned about the significance of wetlands for shoreline protection and estuarine health, as a shelter and breeding ground for marine life and a buffer against storm events.

Many thanks to our expert guides who gave their time so generously,  Carol Ridgeway-Bissett, Neil Fraser, Nigel Dique, Bruce and Trudy Pease, and Kate, Taylar and Corey from Port Stephens Council.

If you missed the events, here’s a record of the wonderful program. And follow Mambo’s facebook page for news of more walks in the coming months.
