You’re invited to join us to help regenerate coastal forest at Tomaree’s One Mile Beach Headland along the Tomaree Coastal walk.

The Friends of Tomaree National Park are inviting you to a terrific morning of bush care — we’ll clear some bitou, while others plant locally-raised natives in some bare patches following our July activity.

Your contribution will be another big step forward to improving the resilience of this coastal forest ecosystem. 

After our regen session, you’re very welcome to stay for a simple morning tea, supplied. Pleased just bring your own cup. 

When

• Saturday morning, 31st August, 8:30 -11am
• please arrive at 8:20am for sign on and equipment, ready for 8:30am start, followed by morning tea.

• New participants
  • please include each participant’s name, email, phone number and post code, and
  • the first name and phone of an emergency contact, thank you
• Current Friends of Tomaree NP, just your name is sufficient

Please wear

• old long sleeved shirt and trousers, closed in shoes and sun hat

Please bring 

• gardening gloves, old glasses, or safety glasses if you have them
• a small bag for personal items, your rain jacket (if showers), water bottle and a small snack for on the track
• a cup, and if you like, a chair for a simple morning tea (supplied) after our bush regen session

Meeting place

• One Mile Beach carpark — below the toilet block, behind the parking barriers
• The car park is at the end of Hannah Place, off Gan Gan Road, Anna Bay.
