Forest regen on One Mile’s headland: Tomaree Coastal Walk SUNDAY 28 July
July 28 @ 8:30 am – 12:00 pm
On Sunday morning 28 July (rescheduled from Sat 27/7 due to rain), the Friends of Tomaree National Park are inviting you to a terrific morning of bush care as we give a helping hand to regenerate bush and improve the resilience of the coastal forest on the headland at One Mile Beach.
Through the morning we will learn about native vegetation, and find out how to deal with invasive weeds such as bitou bush (Chrysanthemoides monilifera) and asparagus fern (Asparagus aethiopicus). We’ll be removing weeds and preparing the site for some native planting in a few weeks.

We will send you more information about the day, where to meet, what to bring and more. A simple morning tea will be supplied.
This is an activity of the Friends of Tomaree National Park with the support of the National Parks and Wildlife Service, NSW.
We look forward to meeting with you.
We acknowledge we are meeting on the lands of the Worimi People. We pay respect to Elders, past, present and future, and acknowledge the pivotal role of First Nations People within the Australian community.
