Revitalise will be an inspiring event focusing on how to revitalise your street, community, place, organisation or local environment. Join us for this inspiring event in Karuah, NSW on Friday 1 November 2024. It will focus on the principles and practical tips for how governments and communities can work better together.

Themes of the day

Flourishing people, places and planet by:

• Shifting from Doing TO and FOR communities to WITH and BY
• Bringing natural habitats back to life
• Reimagining volunteering
• Local economic development, improving town centres and supporting small businesses
• Community-led action for safer vehicle speeds and better places
• Encouraging the positive and proactive Town Team approach

Featuring expert insights, hands-on learning opportunities and some compelling calls to action, Revitalise is the opportunity to meet with like-minded practitioners in the placemaking and community sustainability space.

The event is being held in Karuah, NSW. Karuah is located on the Karuah River, 197 km north of Sydney via the Pacific Motorway and Tarean Road. It is 15m above sea-level and 53 km north of Newcastle.
