Proposed Precinct Plan and 1 into 79 Lot Subdivision comprising 78 Residential Lots (including 5 Superlots (1 for Mixed Use Purposes)), 1 Residual Lot, 15 new Roads, Drainage, Landscaping and associated Subdivision and Environmental Protection Works. This is a submission on behalf of VOWW, a not-for-profit community organisation representing the West Ward of PS LGA.
We object to the proposal to develop Precinct 6, part of Lot 41 Kings Hill in its current form on numerous grounds including:
- the suitability of the site with steep terrain.
- the environmental damage that will occur by removing vegetation.
- the environmental damage caused by aggressive earthworks needed to establish roads and
residential lots. - the problems that future residents would incur with problems of water flow on steeply
created tiering. - the possible building costs that would exclude low-cost housing for this precinct.
