Powerful forces threaten to undermine urgent action on the climate crisis. Can they be defeated?

April 7 @ 2:00 pm 4:30 pm

A Community Forum with special guest Dr Mark Diesendorf, renewable energy and climate policy researcher at UNSW.

Join EcoNetwork and Renew Hunter Branch at our special forum to hear about climate change and how we can transition to a new civilisation that is ecologically sustainable, socially just, healthy and less militarised, with strategies and policies for avoiding the business-as-usual path to disaster.

There will also be representatives from four local volunteer groups who are contributing their time and expertise to save the environment and promote sustainable living in Port Stephens. These include Voice of Wallalong & Woodville, Salamander Bay Recycling Centre, Australian Marine Conservation Society, and Renew Hunter Region Branch.

If you’d like to attend, please book your spot below.

EcoNetwork partners with over 40 affiliated community groups, businesses and special interest groups in Port Stephens. It is affiliated with the Nature Conservation Council of NSW & with the NSW Better Planning Network.
